HANDCRAFTED BRIDAL SHOWER & BRIDESMAID GIFTS

It can be difficult to choose just the right gift for anyone on your list, but add in the pressure of a wedding and the stress level can go off the charts. No amount of money can reflect the bond between close friends. That’s why the best gifts are those from the heart. From the novice to the pro DIYer, these five gifts can be made with love for those who will stand by your side as you tie the knot.

Wedding Day Survival Kit

Being a bridesmaid is a big responsibility. Bring the fun with a basket filled with her favorite snacks, comfy flats for the reception, aspirin for the after-party and Young Living En-R-Geeâ„¢ Essential Oil for a late-night boost.

Solid Perfume Locket

Melt 1 teaspoon of beeswax over a double boiler. Once melted, stir in 1½ teaspoons of V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex. Working quickly, remove from heat and carefully place 2½ teaspoons of the mixture into a glass bowl. Add 15 drops of Young Living Jasmine Essential Oil and stir with a wooden popsicle stick. As desired, add more of the romantic, exotic fragrance of Jasmine Essential Oil. Carefully transfer the mixture into the hollowed side of a beautiful locket and allow to sit for one hour. Your friends will remember your big day, and your friendship, long after the perfume is gone.

Scented Sachet

Fill a glass jar with 2 cups of unscented sachet base and pour 1 ounce of Young Living Cedarwood Essential Oil on top. Attach the lid and shake until the oil and base are thoroughly mixed. Repeat the mixing process periodically for a few days until the oil is completely absorbed. Transfer to a shimmery organza gift pouch.

Silky Foot Soak

Invite your wedding party to relax and unwind after dancing the night away at your reception. Thoroughly combine ½ cup of Epsom salt, 2 tablespoons of rolled oats and 10-15 drops of Young Living Lavender Essential Oil in a Mason jar.
