THIRST QUENCHERS


Quench a warm weather thirst with beverages as flavorful as they are beautiful. Fill a glass pitcher to the brim with any one of these delicious, easy to mix drinks and you’ll add a splash of color to your backyard BBQ and give your guests a refreshing treat.

Health Boosting Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 1¼ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, pits removed, pulp added

  • ½ cup local honey + ½ cup water for sweet syrup

  • 1 drop Lavender Vitality

  • 2 drops Lemon Vitality 6 cups of water

Directions:

Halve the lemons and squeeze juice into bowl. Add lemon pulp to bowl. Heat honey and ½ c. water in small saucepan over very low heat and stir until honey combines with water to create sweet syrup. Add essential oils to the honey syrup, not the water and stir. Pour lemon juice, cooled honey syrup mixture and 6 cups of water into glass pitcher, stir with wooden spoon. Serve over a bit of ice.

 

Refreshing Citrus and Strawberry Infused Water

Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1 lime, sliced

  • 1 orange, sliced

  • 1 cup strawberries, fresh or frozen

  • 3 drops Lemon Vitality

  • 3 drops Lime Vitality

  • 3 drops Tangerine Vitality

  • 1 drop Peppermint Vitality

  • Fresh mint sprigs

  • Filtered water and ice

Directions:

Fill glass pitcher halfway with ice. Add strawberries, then layer slices of lemon, lime and orange. Add all essential oils. Top with sprigs of mint. Fill pitcher with filtered water. Serve immediately.

 

Spicy Virgin Bloody Mary

Ingredients:

  • 11.5 fl. oz. spicy vegetable juice cocktail, tomato juice or Spicy V8

  • 4 drops Lime Vitality

  • 4 drops Black Pepper Vitality

  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp. prepared horseradish

  • 1 cup ice cubes

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a glass pitcher with wooden spoon. Serve individual drinks with garnish of celery stalk, carrot, and skewer of marinated cocktail onions, lime wedges, green bell pepper, stuffed green olives, and mint sprigs.
