Nothing says “summer’s here” like the refreshing taste of citrus!

Planning on a picnic this weekend or just lounging at the pool? Summer is the perfect time to incorporate essential oils into your activities and your food. And to save time on preparation, here are some quick and easy beverages that you can whip up and enjoy anytime. You’ll get a tasty summer treat, plus the benefits of Young Living Therapeutic Grade™ Essential Oils.

Refreshing Black Cherry Lemonade

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup Blue Agave

  • 4 drops Lemon Vitality™

  • 4 large lemons

  • 1 bottle sparkling Black Cherry Soda (best with an all-natural brand like IBC, Boylan’s or Fritz’s)

Citrus Sunshine Smoothie

This zesty smoothie recipe created by Sylvie Shirazi of Gourmande in the Kitchen is a little taste of summer right in your cup! • 1 orange, peeled and seeds removed

  • ½ tablespoon orange blossom honey

  • 2 drops Orange Vitality™

  • 2 drops Tangerine Vitality

  • 1 scoop Slique Shake (optional)

  • 4 ounces plain Greek yogurt

  • 4 ounces crushed ice

Directions:

  1. Place everything in a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth.

  2. Serve immediately.
